Kevan began writing children's stories during his seminary internship. Now as a Ph.D. student in theology, he follows one simple rule: If it can't be said in a children's story then it's not worth saying.
Most of Kevan's creative inspiration comes from his wife, Karen. Their two young children, Maya and Zeke, motivate him to hone his craft as a story teller in order to visit them each day in their world of wonder. Together, they all live with their imaginary menagerie in Milwaukee, where Kevan serves as the discipleship coach for family ministries at St. Stephen the Martyr Lutheran Church.
