Bible camp & you

Many Lutherans — lay and clergy — have stories about the influence of camp in their life. How did your experience as a camper or counselor at an ELCA outdoor ministry site shape or change your life?

Send your response (include your congregation, city and state, and the name and location of the camp) in 300 words or less to julie.sevig@thelutheran.org by March 26.
(Deadline: March 26)

Military and faith

Are you or a family member currently serving in the military? How does your faith sustain you during deployments?

Does your congregation have a great ministry to the enlisted or their families?

Would you like to share names of ELCA military members who have died in combat during the current initiatives in Iraq or Afghanistan?

We need your stories for a July cover story about ELCA members in the military, their families and congregations. Send 150 words about your experience, together with your full name, congregation name (town and state) and e-mail address or phone number to: elizabeth.hunter@thelutheran.org by March 31.
