Follow the leader pays dividends
Greg Tehven helps college students make a difference

If a bus shows up in your town loaded with young students eager to make your community better — for no reason other than the pleasure of "doing good" — then there's a definite possibility that Greg Tehven is involved.

Greg Tehven says "Pay it Forward Tours" are a testament that college students care.
The longtime member of Maple Sheyenne Lutheran Church, Harwood, N.D., helped found "Pay it Forward Tours" in 2003 while a freshman at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. What began as a spirited post-worship conversation among Tehven and three friends turned into a relatively "small commitment."

"We wanted to change the world," Tehven said.
