Clergy sexual abuse or affair?
Readers have different understandings of ELCA policy

Your June cover advertised an article as "Breaking the silence on clergy sexual abuse" (page 12). It is good to know that Linda Maue survived the situation and is recovering from the trauma. She is to be commended on her efforts. However, is this really sexual abuse? It sounds more like an affair, in which she must have cooperated to some extent.
