Jill A. Schumann, president and CEO of Lutheran Services in America, is among 25 nonprofit and business foundation leaders named by President Barack Obama to the White House Council for Community Solutions.
This group will advise the president on ways to involve more people in solving community needs. LSA is an alliance of the ELCA, the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod and more than 300 health and human service organizations.
