Dealing with congregational conflict "is the most demanding responsibility put on synod offices right now," says Montana Synod Bishop Mark Ramseth.
Unfortunately, "synod offices don't get called until the situation has escalated," says Bishop Donald Parsons, Alaska Synod. "Congregations put it off until they are embroiled in conflict."
