Brits study religion

Religion is one of the top 10 exam subjects among 16-year-old British students trying for a General Certificate of School Education.

Nick McKemey, the Church of England's head of school improvement, said it "indicates students' appreciation that exploring faith and belief help them to understand the world and become better global citizens."
