Synovate, an international research company, found that 75 percent of Kenyans trusted the media, while only 19 percent of respondents said they had faith in church leaders, and a similar percentage said they trusted politicians.
The survey was taken just before Kenyans passed a constitution — one that church leaders opposed — saying it would help to entrench Islamic courts and abortion.
