Smith Heavner, a student at TriCounty Technical College, Pendleton, S.C., was elected president of Lutheran Student Movement–USA at the group's August meeting.
Heavner will preside over meetings of the LSM-USA National Council (comprised of 13 regional representatives) and share the voice of students at various meetings of ELCA boards and commissions.
