Kids, like many adults, can be creatures of habit. They might have daily chores posted on the kitchen refrigerator or weekly activities inked on the family calendar.
But when back-to-school season arrives, preschoolers to college students can get knocked off their usual stride. They often find themselves treading through a slew of new experiences: different teachers, new classrooms, changes to sports team rosters or unfamiliar faces in the campus residence hall.
