Parents can help kids learn to roll with life's big and small changes

Kids, like many adults, can be creatures of habit. They might have daily chores posted on the kitchen refrigerator or weekly activities inked on the family calendar.

designpicsBut when back-to-school season arrives, preschoolers to college students can get knocked off their usual stride. They often find themselves treading through a slew of new experiences: different teachers, new classrooms, changes to sports team rosters or unfamiliar faces in the campus residence hall.
