When St. John Lutheran in Mount Pulaski, Ill., sent 47 school kits to Lutheran World Relief more than a year ago, they had no idea a stray church bulletin would find its way to Kosovo and elicit a response. St. John recently received a letter from Stephanie Perrott, manager of a psychosocial program that helps those who have witnessed trauma, especially women and children. While delivering the school kits to the remote village of Likoshan in Kosovo, she found the July 31, 1999, bulletin in one of the bags.
