The Bible is big news, and not just in congregations, college "Intro to Religion" courses or on hotel nightstands. It's also big money — more than 6 billion copies sold. And it's big entertainment — Banned From the Bible, Mysteries of the Bible, The Bible's Greatest Secret, Who Wrote the Bible? and Biblical Disasters recently aired on the History Channel alone.

In many and various ways God's word has been re-presented throughout the centuries — in painting, sculpture, stained glass, hymn and symphony. But in these last days God's word is being re-presented in the popular culture — in song, music video, movie and television and graphic novel.
