During the Korean War, Lt. Col. Paul W. Dare (a chaplain with the 24th U.S. Infantry Division) spends time at the bedside of Pfc. Andrew Zankich of San Pedro, Calif., Company L, 21st Infantry Regiment, 24th U.S. Infantry Division.
Dare visited the 24th's Medical Battalion wards near the fighting front in Korea.
