I called a counseling center for the address of a retired staff member. Several recorded messages later I heard, "To talk to an operator press 0." Aha, I naively thought, a human will talk to me. "0" gave me two more recorded options, one being to enter the last name of the person I wanted. I tried the name of a receptionist who used to work there. Another recorded message informed me that name did not compute. Frustrated at t he futility of it all, I hung up.
