It's bad manners to raise pinkie fingers in the air while eating.
That's one of the lessons taught at the Family Tea Parties held in May and June by St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Charleston, S.C.
The event includes the dos and don'ts of tea etiquette presented by a local company, a traditional afternoon tea, music, gift boutique, tours of the church and an art exhibit.
Proceeds benefit the church's outreach ministries.
