Hagan Hags respond, reunite

Camp Hagen women celebrate 70 years

Several who responded to The Lutheran's reader call attended and worked at Camp Hagan — a ministry that hasn't existed for 40 years. But the once all-girl camp formed a sorority of women, now in their 50s, 60s and beyond, who continue to gather most years at the old Hagan site in Pennsylvania.

They have a group on Facebook, and Gay Moceri, Ascension Lutheran Church, Haddon Heights, N.J., sent her camp memories from her e-mail address that begins "haganhag." Yes, that's what they call themselves — the Hagan Hags.
