It started with a magazine article: use pillowcases to make dresses for Haitian girls who survived the earthquake.
Members of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Valley, Neb., prayed that enough materials would be donated to make 25 dresses.
But when the 11 women and 10 youth were done, they had 156 dresses.
In an article on the Nebraska Synod website, Sharon Josoff, Sunday school director, said: "Trusting in God's provision and knowing that he gives us everything we need to do the task, [the project] turned into a blessing upon each one of us also."
