Officials at Drew University, a United Methodist-affiliated institution in Newark, N.J., are looking to recover historical documents, including original correspondence from church reformers John and Charles Wesley.
The letters were allegedly stolen by a student, William John Scott, who attempted to sell them.
Scott was arraigned on charges of theft March 15 after the FBI found 11 of the documents in his dorm room.
