Jesus' disciples didn't know he was the Son of God or that he would rise from the dead. So what attracted them to Jesus? Here are 10 possible reasons why the disciples followed Jesus. Are they also reasons why we follow him?
1. Jesus called people to new life with God — in this world. He burst onto the public scene saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand" (Mark 1:15). If you're doing something wrong, don't continue life-as-usual. There's a better way. Become instead what God intended you to be, which is what you can be at your best.
