Lutheran wins bronze

Elana Meyers, a member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Douglasville, Ga., won bronze in the bobsled competition at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games.

Meyers, who took up the sport in 2007, told The Washington Post.

"After giving up softball, I didn't know what I was going to do. ... To be sitting here right now, it's nothing but God-inspired."
