By mid-February six churches had contacted Fellowship Lutheran Church, Tulsa, Okla., about its ministry of building ramps (January, "Ramp it up").
"We exchanged plans and ideas with one Illinois group that has a similar program," said Tim Airhart, a driving force in RAMP (Restore Access Ministry Project).
"Also, we've been able to send plans and offer advice to the others who are thinking about starting or have fledgling [men's] groups. ... The need is so great in every community, and growing."
