Jesus' wisdom not from gray hair or fresh face

Christ's intergenerational ministry

[They said,] "You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?" Jesus said to them, "Very truly, I tell you, before Abraham was, I am." So they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple (John 8:57-59).

Jesus was about 30 years old when he started his ministry (Luke 3:23). This is a key piece of biographical information that has long influenced how people see Jesus. But aside from provoking occasional outbursts like the one above, Jesus' age seems to have had little impact on his ministry with people of all ages.
