Clergy blast court ruling

Religious leaders from a variety of faiths in February blasted the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling allowing corporations unlimited financial support of candidates during elections.

More than 200 leaders, many affiliated with the National Council of Churches, also pledged to support legislation to limit the ruling's impact by empowering voters, not special-interest groups.

What part of "Congress shall make no law...abridging freedom of speech" do these constitutional illiterati not understand?
