Norway moves on bishop

The Church of Norway General Synod voted Nov. 17 to end the 500-year-old tradition of having one of the church's 11 diocesan bishops simultaneously serve as presiding bishop. Leaders said one person(serving both roles was too time-consuming. Norway's state church system is being reviewed and could face major changes by 2014.
