Kathryn Lohre, 32, a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Cambridge, Mass., was elected the 26th president of the National Council of Churches in November. She becomes president-elect on Jan. 1 and president three years later, making her the second youngest leader in the NCC's history. Lohre is assistant director of the Pluralism Project at Harvard University, Cambridge.
