From Oct. 30 to Nov. 1, about 10,000 French Protestants gathered in Strasbourg in Alsace, for a first-ever celebration of Reformation day. Protestants en Fete (Protestants Celebrate), organized by the Protestant Federation of France, was "open to all the strands of Protestantism," said Claude Baty, the group's president.
