Lutheran LEGO guy

Mike Ripley, St. John Lutheran, Sudbury, Mass., conducts an annual multigenerational workshop at church to build something from LEGOs. This fall, it was Luther's seal: "It's interesting but not too intricate, it is in color but there aren't too many colors ... and most important, it's Lutheran!" he said.

The event is an anticipated family fun night with a different theme each year, a Danish (home of the LEGO group) dinner, a free-build area and a pre-event where kids and sometimes adults build something ahead of time to be judged.
