If you’re preparing for a baby, it’s easy to find books that guide you through the physical and psychological stages of pregnancy or adoption. Less discussed, though, are the spiritual changes that often come during the transition to parenthood.

“For some parents, spirituality can go from digital to high-definition during this time,” said Dawn Rundman, a lead developer of Splash!, resources from Augsburg Fortress, Publishers for families with children ages birth to 3. “It’s one of the few times in our lives when we get that much of a window into understanding God as our creator.”
