Ascension Lutheran Church, South Burlington, Vt ., was chosen Interfaith Power & Light's newest "cool congregation." Interfaith Power & Light recognizes outstanding work toward reducing the carbon footprint and promoting creation care. Nancy Wright, pastor, and the church's care of creation committee implemented a comprehensive greening program that stems from what Wright calls a "deep sense that care for creation is part of the church's mission."
