Phone for financial help

Answering the call more for financial counselors, Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota opened a new phone counseling center in Duluth, where LSS Financial Counseling has provided services in the city since 1987. Ten counselors have been hired, with 25 more slated to start by the end of next year. "We've simply been unable to keep up with demand," said Susan Aulie of LSS Financial Counseling. More than 5,500 calls come in each month in Duluth.
