Lutheran World Relief joined a coalition of faith leaders on Oct. 2 to urge the Obama administration to make peace in Sudan a priority. The leaders asked White House officials to emphasize the importance of peace efforts when meeting with heads-of-state who can play a constructive role in resolving the conflict in Sudan. The group called for the administration to work with multilateral coalitions to ensure that the people of Darfur can return home safely and rebuild their lives.
