A pioneer partnership between Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota and the state Department of Veterans Affairs makes programs available to military veterans and families—at no cost. Individual and family counseling, financial counseling, debt management, addiction assessments and referral, disability services andin-home counseling are offered through LSS, supported by $500,000 from the state. Referrals to the services can be made through the LSS hot line at 888-881-8261.
