Gyoung Ho Jeong, a Christian social ethics professor in Kyungsan, Korea, said he may be creating a new branch of theology — “traveling theology.”
He takes students at Youngnam Theological College and Seminary out of their classrooms and homes to live among people from Mongolia’s nomadic herders to urban poor in Vietnam.
“This is a process of learning from life settings,” he said. “It is not tourism.”
