Anti-racism move for Reformed

After 24 years of consideration, the Reformed Church in America voted in June to adopt the Belhar Confession as a “standard of unity.”
The confession was written in 1982, during apartheid, by the Dutch Reformed Mission Church, a black denomination in South Africa, to affirm the gospel “in the face of terrible oppression.”
