Southern Baptists aging

After LifeWay researchers warned that the Southern Baptist Convention could lose half its members by 2050, denominational leaders met in June and called for a turnaround of dropping baptism rates.

In other business, leaders voted to break ties with Broadway Baptist Church, Fort Worth, Texas, for “welcoming gays.”
