Churches on North Korea aid

The National Council of Churches in Korea asked its congregations and organizations to join a campaign to provide powdered milk and flour “without any precondition” to North Korean children.

The campaign came after the council’s March discussions in Beijing with the (North) Korean Christian Federation.

“Humanitarian assistance from South Korea ... and 330,000 tons of expected assistance from the U.S.A.” ceased because of the nuclear situation, the council said.
