Adoption charities in England and Wales must accept same-sex couples as adoptive parents or risk going out of business.
The Charity Tribunal’s decision means some agencies, including Catholic Care that operates in the Diocese of Leeds, will have to choose between religious principles or abandoning adoption services.
The tribunal rules on decisions of the Charity Commission, the legal regulator of charities in England and Wales.
The diocese said “it seems likely that the charities will need to close their adoption services, and a flagship service of the charities will be lost.”

Based on the General Assembly's action approving of homosexual "monogamous" pastors, it appears the ELCA is infected with the same moral blindness as the governments of England and Wales.
Homosexual conduct is condemned as sin in both the Old and New Testaments. Unrepentant

homosexuals shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corrinthians 6 v. 9, 10. Yet, those who repent and ask for forgiveness, based on the suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, may enter that Kingdom.See id. at 11.
