The Church of Scotland approved a two-year moratorium on all issues related to openly gay clergy, but only after approving a gay man to serve as pastor of Queen’s Cross Church in Aberdeen.
The church’s General Assembly approved the appointment of Stuart Rennie, a divorced father.
The moratorium is to give breathing room to a nine-member commission that is scheduled to study the issue and report back in 2011.

They OK an openly gay Pastor while they wait for a "nine-member commission that is scheduled to study the issue and report back in 2011."?
Why? Why err on the side of Satan, when the Bible is so clear?
Pastors are sinners too....everyone knows that. BUT, no one who is practicing sin as a lifestyle and has not repented, should be in church leadership.
