Global Spirit is an unusual and fascinating TV series that travels the globe to explore the spiritual, psychological and scientific belief systems that animate our actions.
Hosted by Phil Cousineau, best known for his writings on pilgrimage, the series includes interviews with experts on the world’s religions, including Karen Armstrong, Robert Thurman and Alan Jones, as well as leading writers on the connection between religion and science. All 10 episodes are available via streaming video for free.
A group of Americans return to Vietnam in the Global Spirit episode “Forgiveness and Healing,” available in June.
The series debuted on Link TV on Easter and will conclude in mid-June; it is available on DIRECTV channel 375 and Dish Network channel 9410 and on select cable stations.
