A survey by Project Teen Canada and sociologist Reginald Bibby found that Canadian teens are becoming more virtuous but less inclined to identify as Christian.
The teens are less likely than their predecessors to use alcohol or cigarettes.
The number who aren’t sexually active rose from 51 percent in 2000 to 56 percent in 2008.
While 3 percent professed belief in non-Christian faiths in 1984, in 2008, that number was 16 percent.
