Trinity Lutheran, Lakewood, Ohio, turned its front yard into a Garden of Peace and Plenty that will produce vegetables and greens for the three free meals served at the church each month.
It was designed by members but includes neighbors and community groups in the gardening.
Lakewood is a first-ring suburb of Cleveland, where houses are close and garden areas are few and far between.
