Reformation Lutheran, Culpeper, Va., received the Best Congregation Practices Award in Older Adult Ministry from the National Council on Aging, an interfaith organization.
Bradley J. Hales, pastor, said the congregation offers a “Five S” program of spiritual, social, study, service and self activities for older adults.
The ecumenical program provides Bible study, retreats, exercise, Spanish lessons, nursing home visits and monthly lunches with local speakers.
