In Boardman, Ohio, you might wake up to a gold-painted toilet in your yard, compliments of the Bethel Lutheran Church youth group.
The youth are raising money to attend the July ELCA Youth Gathering in New Orleans.
The toilet is delivered for a day. To have it “flushed away” and select the next recipient costs $20.
For $30 you ensure the throne doesn’t show up again.
A sign attached to the toilet explains the fundraiser. And a flier details the fees and contact information.
