Mountain View Lutheran Church, Phoenix (Ahwatukee), brings the community and local businesses together at “Tasting Ahwatukee — A Business Expo.”
The $7 entrance fee allows people to sample from 21 participating restaurants. Business vendors are also on hand to showcase their products and services.
The event’s proceeds go to the church’s youth and education programs, including funding for the 2009 ELCA National Youth Gathering.
Last year, 1,600 people attended the event.
