In Bethlehem recently, eight members of Lord of Light Lutheran Church/Lutheran Campus Ministry at the University of Michigan worshiped at the International Center next to Christmas Lutheran Church and with others at their Ann Arbor church — using Skype.
Separated by seven hours and several thousand miles, they shared in liturgy in real time.
The sanctuary in Ann Arbor was set up with a computer, projector, screen and speakers.
The group in Bethlehem gathered around a laptop with an integrated webcam.
