Lord of Life Lutheran, a 20-year-old storefront church in Clovis, Calif., collected more than 76 suitcases for children in the foster care system.
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans contributed toward Bibles to go into each case for the ministry called “Kases for Kids.”
Lord of Life leases four suites in an office complex: for Sunday school and small-group meetings, the pastor’s office and church office, the sanctuary and for youth ministry.
