“Hearing the Word: Lutheran Perspectives on Biblical Interpretation” is the theme for the 2009 Hein-Fry Lecture Series.
Each year the eight ELCA seminaries host two or three speakers in the series.
This year’s lectures will expand to five speakers at seven locations — four ELCA universities and three ELCA congregations.
The lectures began Feb. 17 and continue through April 28.
This series opens a three-year focus on themes related to the ELCA Book of Faith initiative.
