For peace in Sudan

One of President Barack Obama’s campaign promises was an “unstinting resolve” to end the genocide in Darfur, Sudan.

The ELCA e-Advocacy Network urged ELCA members to participate in “Be a Voice for Darfur,” a campaign to collect postcards that will be delivered to Obama in April.

The postcards urge the president to achieve protection of civilians from violence, starvation and disease; sustainable peace for all Sudan; and justice for victims and accountability for perpetrators.
