There’s a place in Minot, N.D., where 8- to 18-year-olds can stay when they have nowhere else to go.
It’s the Lutheran Social Services Attendant Care facility inside the Ward County Public Library — two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen and office.
The safe, but not spiffy, location is getting a face-lift with a $2,000 grant from the Magic Give project.
The money is buying some materials, and area businesses and organizations are donating more resources, time and labor.
The Job Corps is supervising students in the remodeling effort.
