• At its January gathering, Lutheran Student Movement adopted a resolution to “establish a formal and clearly defined relationship with the ELCA.” LSM’s membership has been predominantly ELCA-based after the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod formed a student group in 1987. The resolution recognized that LSM has been funded as if it were an ELCA program but that a formal relationship had never been affirmed.
